Liam Rothwell

After completing his Bachelor of Podiatry at Latrobe University in 2006, Liam began working alongside leading Physiotherapists and sports medicine doctors in Melbourne and London.

Liam has continued to expand his training and has obtained further practical experience in a number of clinics in Melbourne. His treatments extend to Foot Mobilisation and Manipulation, Foot Strengthening Techniques and Running Assessment and Re-training.

Liam has been a Podiatrist contributor for Medibank “Be” Magazine.

With two young children of his own, Liam loves helping other kids live pain free to enjoy life.

As an active sports participant, including running and playing hockey at national levels, Liam has suffered a variety of injuries. This enables him to provide an understanding approach to help find the right diagnosis and develop your treatment plan for long lasting results.

Matt Grant

In 2006, Matt completed a Bachelor of Podiatry at Latrobe University and gained valuable experience in private and public podiatry settings.

Today, Matt continues to attend seminars and conferences so he is up to date with the latest advances and practices in Podiatry and personal training.

Matt is a keen sportsman. He has an extensive background in athletics/cross-country and played football for a number of years. As a qualified personal trainer and successful gym manager, Matt has a keen interest in sports Podiatry, biomechanical analysis and footwear prescription.

Ongoing education and training means Matt has gained further qualifications in Foot Mobilisation and Manipulation, Foot Strengthening Techniques plus Running Assessment and Re-training.

Among many of Matt’s patients are professional runners and AFL boundary umpires.
Seeing a need to provide additional services, Matt established the Eastern section of the Home Podiatry team, which provides at home service for patients unable to visit the clinic.

Angela Saflekas

After graduating from Latrobe University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Masters in Podiatric Practice, Angela found work immediately. She began managing a caseload of patients at various GP clinics.

Today, she enjoys treating a wide range of podiatric conditions. She particularly enjoys treating lower limb injuries, patients with diabetes, and children.

With a personal interest in complex foot and ankle pain, Angela continues to complete additional post-graduate courses and provides the best possible treatment options. These treatments include Shockwave Therapy, Foot Mobilisation and Manipulation and Dry Needling.

Working at a specialist footwear store gave Angela additional skills, including biomechanical experience and footwear knowledge. In this role, she regularly observed customers walking and running on a treadmill. Based on her observation and knowledge, she recommend appropriate running shoes based on the customers foot type, function, activity levels and injury status.

Away from the clinic, Angela has a keen interest in fast cars and enjoys an active lifestyle by regularly attending the gym. She loves spending time with her friends and family and speaks Greek fluently.

Laura Page

In 2018, Laura graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science,
Masters in Podiatric Practice. Laura gained valuable experience working in a private podiatry setting as an orthotic technician for two years. In this role, she performed footwear and orthotic modifications for patients to aid recovery, reduce pain and prevent injury reoccurrence.

Drawing from her orthotic modification skills, Laura has a strong interest in footwear and orthotics, and their role in injury management and prevention. Laura also enjoys providing a variety of foot and ankle treatment to diabetic and geriatric patients.

Laura is a keen sportswoman, playing both netball and football locally. She enjoys keeping fit in a social environment.

As a new graduate, Laura is excited to complete additional post-graduate courses that will allow her to provide a wider scope of treatment to her patients.
